Hotel Hesper HSR - Taichung

McDonalds and 7/11 accessible

The bed mattress and pillows are very uncomfortable

Politeness of staffs and good location.

Bathroom

Room was nice and clean. Easy walk to MRT metro.

Not much around it. No real common space.

Location is quite good. Not far from MRT and HSR.

Cannot adjust room temperature by myself and it is pretty warm in the room during the night.

Good location next to MC cafe 5 minutes taxi to HSR stationBug room comfortable and clean

Location, clean, price

Overall is good

It was important to me to be relatively near the HSR station.

Everything was fine except the taxi driver charged me much more than the person at the desk told me it would be--280 instead of 120

Yes. They’re pretty newish and clean.

The sink in the bathroom is kinda small. We stayed at a room for 4 bed did it have much space to put our face cleanser and mouth rinse.

The location is good for my need.

This hotel offered watching my suitcases after I checked out, however the staff kept my suitcases next to the first floor’s elevator. Without any protection, they claimed they will watch my suitcases via camera. I was totally shocked about their statement. I have never heard of this carefulness service in my past travel experience. I hope they can improve on this. Everything else was fine with me.

Clean near with grab to the hsr station

The check in time

Good location as it is very near the high speed railway station. However, it is right next to a busy road and across from a fire station and an educational building. Traffic noise is loud and runs into the night. The room is spacious and clean, however the bed is on a harder side. Fees are applicable for extra pillows from the reception

In general, the hotel offers value for money and the staff were very helpful. It is well-located close to the high speed rail station. However it is quite far from the center of town where more restaurants, the park and the night market are located. I found the bed too hard and did not realise I had to explicitly request that the room be cleaned until the second day.

It met our need to stay one night in Taichung. It was close to the bus stops we needed to use.

There was a loud construction noise going on nearby when we arrived. The room was spacious with old rugged furniture. The bathroom was dark and had no counter space.

Rooms look and feel new; they are also spacious and provide respite from the hustle and bustle outside. There are a couple of convenience stores and restaurants downstairs, making it really easy to grab a quite bite.

The 5-10 min walk to this hotel from Wuri subway station is a nightmare. There are virtually no pedestrian walkways, and so people have to share the road with motor vehicles. It seems to me the locals are nonchalant about it, but I imagine it can be a shock to many visitors like me.

My 1-night stay was comfortable. I slept well. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.

good value, good size room

Staff don't really want to talk or greet. Was allocated a noisy room, then changed.

Location. Facilities. Space. Cleanliness

Average sound proofing. Lack of space for toiletries that is easily reachable

Clean, comfortable, friendly, 7-11 and McDonald’s is near by.

Location

Close to HSR

A lot of noise since it is close to a big road. Also lost one of my watches.

The hotel is conveniently located 3 bus stops (by bus 33) away from the HSR station. The bus stops right outside the hotel. There’s a huge MacDonalds and 711 just beside. The room is clean and big.
